Brooklyn Beckham appears to have removed a tattoo tribute to his father Sir David Beckham, marking another painful moment in the family rift that has played out publicly in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old, who has become increasingly estranged from his famous parents, was previously tattooed with a large anchor on his upper right arm bearing the word “dad”, alongside the message “Love you Bust” — Sir David’s long-standing nickname for his eldest son.
However, recent photographs suggest the tribute has now been lasered off. The change comes just weeks after Brooklyn released a scathing public statement in which he said he did not wish to reconcile with his family.
The timing is particularly poignant, as Sir David, 50, was seen only days earlier with his own “Buster” neck tattoo — inked in 2015 in honour of Brooklyn — still clearly visible during a trip to Doha.

Brooklyn is the eldest child of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, who also share sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14.
Last year, Brooklyn also covered up another family-related tattoo, the words “mama’s boy” inked across his chest in tribute to his mother.
The apparent removal of the tattoo follows Brooklyn’s explosive statement last month, in which he accused his parents of controlling his public narrative and prioritising image over authenticity. He claimed that since marrying actress Nicola Peltz, he has found “peace and relief” after years of anxiety.
In the statement, Brooklyn alleged that his parents repeatedly interfered in his relationship and wedding plans, including claims that Victoria cancelled making Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute and that his parents pressured him to sign away rights to his name shortly before the ceremony.
While the Beckhams have not publicly responded, they were recently seen presenting a united front alongside their younger children at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.

Nicola’s father, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, briefly addressed the situation during a Q&A at WSJD’s Invest Live event in Florida, saying he looked forward to Brooklyn and Nicola having “a long, happy marriage” but declined to discuss the family drama in detail.
Sources close to Sir David and Victoria have previously said they are “devastated” by Brooklyn’s comments but would still welcome him back should he choose to reconcile.
