Union laced up the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Melody Ehsani “Fearless” sneakers, which came out in 2019 as part of the “Fearless Ones” collection. The design presents a different colorway on each shoe, with blue, green and white green on the right sneaker and orange, red and pink on the left; both feature a black Swoosh. Additional details include a watch face adorning the laces and a message on the midsole reading, “If you knew what you had was rare you would never waste it.” Originally retailing for $130, the style is now offered on resale platforms with higher price tags.
As for the Air Jordan 1, it is widely regarded as the first shoe in Michael Jordan’s iconic Nike line. The shoe was designed by Peter Moore and launched in 1985, meaning in turned 40 just last year.
Ehsani also served as creative director for Women, a role she stepped down from in 2023 after joining in 2021 with the goal of elevating Foot Locker with female consumers in the streetwear realm through content and product development.
