Brooklyn needed to open up a roster spot after acquiring Josh Minott, Hunter Tyson and Ochai Agbaji at the trade deadline, resulting in Martin’s departure. Martin made 37 appearances this season for the Nets, averaging 7.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 18.8 minutes per game.
