Snow showers today leads to a burst of snow squalls late this afternoon and evening with gusty wind and frigid Arctic Cold returning to the area through Saturday.
Cold weather alerts go into effect overnight through Sunday morning for a wind chill of -14 to -24.
These brutal, potentially dangerous, wind chills will last into the afternoon on Saturday.
By Sunday morning, temperatures will be cold yet again with lows around zero. Wind chills will not be as frigid.
Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy on Sunday, with isolated snow showers.
