Snow showers and squalls are expected tonight as an arctic cold front passing through. 

Behind this front, temperatures plummet and the wind picks up overnight through Saturday as snow shower chances persist east and south of Lake Ontario. Saturday will feature temperatures in the single digits above and below zero, with wind chills in the 10s and 20s below zero. Between early Saturday morning and early Sunday morning, wind chill values (under the Extreme Cold Warning) could be as low as 20 to 30 degrees below zero.

While early next week remains quite cold, temperatures are expected to gradually improve as the week progresses.
