STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island’s three Community Boards will hold public meetings next week in which traffic safety and needed infrastructure improvements in Ocean Breeze and Willowbrook will be addressed.

The following is a list of all Staten Island Community Board meetings scheduled for next week, as provided by representatives from each of the boards.

Community Board 1

Community Board 1 will have a full board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will only be held in-person at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 347 Davis Ave. There is no set agenda.

Community Board 2

The Traffic, Transportation & Public Service Committee will meet Monday, Feb. 9, to discuss safety and traffic concerns at two Staten Island locations with the Department of Transportation.

Committee Chair Joe Torres will convene the meeting at 7 p.m. at 1110 South Ave., Bloomfield, in the first-floor conference room.

The committee will take up intersection safety and potential road improvements at Seaview and Mason avenues, Ocean Breeze, where recent traffic concerns have been reported. A street safety project was officially unveiled there in May 2025.

A second discussion will address College of Staten Island access at Victory Boulevard and Canterbury Avenue, Willowbrook.

Community Board 3

Community Board 3 will hold three committee meetings in February, with one session focused on ethics and governance standards.

All meetings will take place at the Community Board 3 office, 1243 Woodrow Rd., on the second floor.

The Parks & Recreation and Environmental Committee will convene Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m. for a meeting and public hearing. No agenda items have been announced.

The following day, on Wednesday, Feb. 11, the Ethics, Rules & By-laws Committee will meet at 6 p.m. for a public hearing. The committee plans to review the board’s current responsibilities, rules and conduct. The discussion aims to ensure accountability and uphold the integrity and transparency of governing processes.

The Land Use Committee will hold its meeting and public hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. No agenda items have been announced for this meeting.

Open to the public
