Alysa Liu‘s Olympic comeback is winning the adoration of the world, including a Grammy winning artist.

The 20-year-old figure skater is back at the Olympics four years after falling out of love with the sport and choosing to retire. Now, she’s back on her own terms and skating with a renewed passion.

Liu received rapturous support after her first skate of the Milan Cortina Olympics, a short program as part of the team competition. She placed second behind three-time world champion Kaori Sakamoto of Japan. Watch her skate below.

Her skate also caught the attention of Laufey, a singer-songwriter known for hits like “From the Start,” “Lover Girl,” and “Falling Behind.” Laufey also sings “Promise,” the song Liu skates to.

Laufey gained almost 3 million views for her TikTok post that said “olympics hitting different this year.”
