BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 27-year-old man has died after being hit by an SUV at a parking lot in the Bronx early Sunday morning, according to the New York City Department of Transportation.
The incident happened around 2:24 a.m. near 645 Westchester Avenue.
An investigation determined that a driver in an SUV hit the victim before fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday evening, and investigations are ongoing.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
