New York City is continuing to deal with the aftermath of a winter snowstorm that dumped more than a foot of snow on the city between Jan. 25 and Jan. 26.

Drivers are reminded that parking within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant is illegal and that painted curbs at hydrant locations do not indicate where they can park.

Alternate Side Parking will also be suspended on Thursday, Feb. 12, in recognition of Lincoln’s birthday.
