It’s that time of year again. Time to start thinking about the snow, and how you’re going to handle it. Will you just close yourself in your house, hibernating like a bear for a couple of months, or will you be getting outside this year to actually enjoy it?
If you’re planning on being active and getting outside to enjoy the snow this year, skiing might be on your list of things to do. Luckily for us here in New York, we’ve got some incredible ski resorts. What people don’t know is if you’re planning on doing it a lot, the best way to get the most bang for your buck is to just get a season pass.
This year, most passes have gone up in cost
Just like anything else, it’s pretty common to see prices go up on season passes at ski resorts. This year, it looks like most of them did go up, even if just by a couple of bucks.

However, there was one that came down in cost significantly. Kissing Bridge is under new management and has dropped their season pass cost by around $300! Last year it was listed at $850 for a regular adult season pass. This year, they’ve got it at $549.

For this comparison, we just looked at the cost of an adult pass on their website that you could buy today. This is normally the best time of year to buy because there are discounts when you buy before the snow actually falls. There are often discounts if you are a senior citizen, a child, or want to do something like only ski at night. Many of them will also offer a bundle price that could include just a select number of days on the slopes.
