Moore Catholic earned a 57–40 CHSAA AA league victory over St. John’s Prep Sunday morning in Queens.
Mackenzie Felci led the Mavericks with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Olivia Bruno-Dunn also scored 14 points, knocking down four three-pointers. Emma Costanzo added 13 points and five rebounds, and Veronica Barbato finished with six points.
“It was a great league win,” said Moore Catholic assistant coach Amanda Henderson. “Olivia Bruno-Dunn has been playing great, consistently hitting big shots. Kenzie continues to play strong all-around games. Emma Costanzo and Veronica Barbato made big plays to help lead the team to the victory.”
The win improves the Mavericks to 15–5 overall and 10–0 in CHSAA AA league play. Moore Catholic will return home Wednesday for Senior Night against Bishop Loughlin before traveling to face Notre Dame Academy Thursday night at CSI.
