NEW YORK (PIX11) – Did you feel it? A small earthquake shook upstate New York on Monday night. 

The 2.6-magnitude earthquake hit near Chazy around 11:40 p.m. Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. 

Nearly 100 locals reported feeling the quake, according to USGS. People reported feeling only light shaking. 

The latest earthquake in the area was in early August, when people in New York City reported feeling a 3.0-magnitude quake in New Jersey
