The FDNY says two firefighters were injured battling a four-alarm inferno inside a Concourse Village home. The blaze led to a partial collapse in the rear of the building.
Crews responded to 279 East 163rd St. just after 7 p.m., according to fire officials.
Flames erupted on the second floor of the three-story building and extended into a nearby structure.
The FDNY says the blaze left 19 people displaced.
News 12 reached out to the Red Cross and the Department of Buildings and is awaiting a response.
