Manhattan Toy is bringing back the Groovy Girls dolls for a new generation of kids, debuting at Toy Fair this month.
Groovy Girls launched in the late 1990s and quickly became fan favorites for their bold styles, soft body construction, and celebration of creativity and self-expression. Today, the dolls are reimagined with Millennial and Generation Z parents in mind, who will appreciate the nod to their own childhoods.
Each doll in this new line features diverse skin tones, styleable hairstyles with fun streaks of color, removable, collectible outfits, and all-new magnetic hands for interactive play. This revamped collection remains true to the brand’s original soft-body construction and core value of highlighting confidence.

“Groovy Girls have always been more than just dolls; they’re characters that kids connect with, stories waiting to be told,” says Kelly Anderson, Vice President of Marketing at Manhattan Toy. “We’ve designed this new collection to reflect the world kids see around them today — full of diversity, color, and possibility — while keeping the playful essence that made Groovy Girls so popular in the first place.”
Alongside the five dolls, Rose, Iris, Poppy, Saige, and Daisy, this collection will feature a range of new outfits and accessories, as well as callback items like pets, camping gear, and furniture, with magnetic elements compatible with the dolls.
Kids ages 3 and up will be able to get their hands on these dolls in May. The dolls are $29.99 each.
