A woman is dead and another person is still unaccounted for following a Queens house fire.

Four people jumped out of the rear windows, and two people were rescued from the second floor, Elmhurst Assistant Fire Chief David Simms told CBS reporters.

At the height of the four-alarm fire, a specialized rescue unit waded through three to four feet of water searching the basement. That’s where they found a 34-year-old woman dead, and the other is still missing.

Among the six people transported to the hospital were two youths, 10 and 13.

The cause is under investigation.
