The heart runs wild here, from either current students or alumna who return to Central NY for a sentimental reunion or visit. The famous “Kissing Bench” at the Syracuse University campus is a cherished location where many romances have begun and blossomed into long relationships and marriage. This granite bench, a gift from the SU Class of 1912, is situated between the Hall of Languages and the Tolley Humanitarian Building. Howe Caverns’ Bridal Altar
Howe Caverns in Schoharie County is the second most popular natural tourist destination in New York state, after Niagara Falls. New York state boasts an abundance of towering ski mountains, from the western slopes in Ellicottville to the beloved mid-height peaks of the Catskills, and up to the majestic High Peaks of the Adirondacks.
