PLYMOUTH, N.Y. (WBNG) — A Norwich man was arrested on Wednesday on numerous charges following a reported domestic incident in the Town of Plymouth, according to information from the New York State Police.
Mark A. Lunsford, 30, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 8, on the following charges:
Attempted assault in the second degree, a class E felony. Criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
Lunsford’s arrest stems from a reported domestic incident just after 1 p.m. on Sunday when troopers were sent to a home on county Road 19 in Plymouth.
An investigation revealed that Lunsford punched the victim and then hit them in the head with a glass liquor bottle, causing it to break. The fight was broken up by another person, and Lunsford fled the scene, troopers said.
Lunsford was found at a residence in Norwich and was arrested on the above charges.
Lunsford was processed at the trooper barracks before he was taken to the Chenango County Jail, troopers said.
