Like Democrats at the federal level, Democrats on the New York state level are discussing immigration, especially how the Legislature can find an appropriate response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
State Sen. Pat Fahy, chair of the Senate Disabilities Committee, discussed the multiple proposals on the table in Albany that would rein in ICE in New York state. Â
Fahy also explained to Capital Tonight’s Susan Arbetter how her trio of bills to curb absenteeism would work in the state’s public schools.
