BELLMORE, New York (WABC) — A third-alarm fire burned through two homes on Long Island.
The fire broke out at a home off Chapman Avenue in Bellmore, New York just after 4:30 a.m.
Portions of that home collapsed as flames spread to another building nearby.
One person was trapped in the house on fire, and is in unknown condition.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
