On February 8, 2026, New York State Police arrested Mark A. Lunsford, 30 of Norwich for the class “E” felony of Attempted Assault in the 2nd degree and the misdemeanor of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree.
Just after 1:00 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on County Road 19 in the Town of Plymouth. An investigation determined that after a disagreement with a victim, Lunsford punched the victim then struck the victim in the head with a glass liquor bottle causing it to break. The fight was broken apart by a third party and Lunsford left the scene.
Lunsford was located at a residence in the city of Norwich and arrested. He was transported to SP Norwich, then transported to the Chenango County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
