Officials have recovered a second body from the scene of a deadly fire in Queens.

Investigators said the second victim is a newborn.

A 34-year-old woman was found dead in the basement, officials said.

The fire started on the first floor of the home on 83-32 Dongan Avenue in Elmhurst just before 7 p.m. Monday and quickly rose to the top of the home and spread to neighboring buildings on both sides.

A 22-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries, including burns over nearly his entire body and five others suffered minor injuries, officials said.

Two firefighters also suffered minor injuries.

Over 200 fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
