STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating several robberies that occurred across Staten Island over the course of a recent week, according to the NYPD.

Police report that the following robberies occurred in the borough from Feb. 2 to 8 via a report by CompStat, the NYPD’s data system:

On Feb. 4 at 6 a.m., a personal electronic device robbery was reported at New Dorp Lane and Cedar Grove Avenue in New Dorp Beach.On Feb. 5 at 3 a.m., a residential commercial robbery was reported at Bay and Congress streets in Stapleton. At 7 p.m. on the same day, a pocketbook robbery happened at Castleton Avenue and Broadway in West Brighton.On Feb. 6 at 8 p.m., another personal electronic device robbery was reported near Gordon and Broad streets in Stapleton. A few hours later at 11 p.m., a robbery that began as shoplifting occurred at Tysen Lane and Primrose Place in New Dorp.On Feb. 7 at 4 a.m., a jewelry robbery was reported at Richmond Terrace and Nicholas Street in New Brighton.

Comparing this week to last year, there have been 30 robberies in 2026 to compared to 33 in 2025, a 9% decrease.
