NEW YORK (PIX11) — The MTA has announced modified schedules across New York City transit ahead of Presidents’ Day on Monday.
The service changes will affect New York City buses, subways, the Long Island Rail Road, and the Metro-North Railroad.
New York City Subway
Subway lines and the Staten Island Railway will run on a Saturday schedule.
Commuters are warned of planned service changes on several subway lines. Information about the service changes will be available on the MTA website or app.
New York City Buses
Most buses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx will run on a Saturday schedule. Most buses on Staten Island will run on a reduced weekday schedule.
Most local and express buses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx will run on a Saturday schedule.
Long Island Rail Road
The LIRR will run on a Sunday schedule with off-peak fares all day.

Metro-North Railroad
The Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines will run on a Saturday schedule. Trains on the Port Jervis Line will run on a weekend service with three additional trains. The Pascack Valley Line will run on a normal weekend schedule.
The following will not operate on Monday: The Hudson Rail Link buses at Spuyten Duyvil and Riverdale, the Haverstraw-Ossining ferry, and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Shuttle.
