Four people were brought to the hospital after a crash involving a squad car in Brooklyn Park on Wednesday.

Brooklyn Park police said that just after 3:20 p.m., a crash occurred at 85th Avenue North and Zane Avenue North between one of their squad cars and two other vehicles.

The squad car was responding to an emergency call with its emergency lights and siren activated at the time of the crash, according to police.

The Minnesota State Patrol said that the squad car was going west on 85th Avenue when it was hit by a Chevy Equinox going south on Zane Avenue. The squad car rolled over and made contact with a Toyota Highlander that was stopped at the intersection.

Two people in the squad car and two people in the Equinox were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, State Patrol added.

CHOPPER 5 captured video of a squad car being towed from the intersection.
