Model Elsie Hewitt is relying on coffee to navigate the sleepless nights of new motherhood with her one-month-old daughter, Scottie, Parade reported.

Hewitt, who is Pete Davidson’s girlfriend, shared a glimpse of postpartum life in a Feb. 10 Instagram post featuring multiple photos of her juggling baby duties and caffeine breaks.

“u know how they say you sleep when the baby sleeps??” Hewitt wrote in the caption. “having a newborn is exactly why i need half caff, thank u @peetscoffee for saving my life.”

One video in the post showed Hewitt’s coffee cup positioned in front of a snowy window while Scottie made small sounds in the background. The post drew positive reactions from followers, with one commenting, “The little sounds,” and another writing, “The snow and the feels. These are the times I miss most with mine grown.”

Despite the challenges of caring for a newborn, Hewitt and Davidson told Us Weekly in January that they are already considering expanding their family.

We want her to have a friend, for sure,” Davidson said. “We love the idea of her being a big sister.”

Expanding the family?

Hewitt acknowledged the timing seems ambitious, saying she can’t believe they are “already thinking about having another one.” But she said the experience has been transformative.

“The process of giving birth is so insane, but so empowering once it happens,” Hewitt said. “Just having this little thing, I really can’t explain how incredible the whole thing is.”

She added: “The idea of making another one and making a sibling is something I’ve already been like, ‘I want to do it again.’ They’re so tiny when they come out, and they grow so fast. It’s crazy.”

Scottie was born Dec. 12. Days after her birth, Hewitt posted photos of the couple with their newborn, writing, “my best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”
