Section III indoor track and field athletes from more than 60 teams convened for the state qualifier meet on Wednesday at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College.

A few athletes in each event qualified for the New York State championship meet next month, with some punching their tickets for the first time.

The state championship meet is March 6-7 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.

Boys

Waterville’s Danny Casatelli garnered the top finish in the 3,200-meter run (9:28.79).

In the Division I 4×200-meter relay, PSLA @ Fowler’s Damereon Gary, Jayden Cotton, Troy Jones-Huddleston and Christian Keene notched a victory in 1:34.4.

Jay-Neil McDuffie of East Syracuse Minoa was victorious in the long jump (22-7.5).

Jamesville-DeWitt’s 4×200-meter relay of Tristan Costello, Elijah Lewis, Moujahid Cherif and Amar Lopez won the Division II race in 1:34.27.

Jaden Addai was victorious in the high jump (6-3) for the Red Rams. Lopez came in first in the triple jump (46-0.5).

In the Division I 4×800-meter relay, Baldwinsville’s Liam McOmber, Logan Bolton, Peyton Brutcher and Dom Dottolo grabbed first place in 8:21.05.

Cicero-North Syracuse’s Camron Ingram darted to victory in the 55-meter hurdles (7.66 seconds). Tyler Graham notched a win in the 600-meter run (1:24.73).

Fayetteville-Manlius’ Nikita Domashenko recorded a win in the 55-meter dash (6.54 seconds). In the Division I 4×400-meter relay, the Hornets’ Domashenko, William Beecher, Hudson Brown and Freddy Hunt won in 3:36.53.

Cazenovia’s Division II 4×400-meter relay of Eliot Comeau, Christian Rheaume, Alex Dolly and Caleb Gilmore were victorious in 3:36.33.

Oswego’s Colin Wallace raced to victory in the 1,000-meter run (2:36.67). Auburn’s Owen Gasper ran to the top finish in the 1,600-meter run, while John Clemens won the weight throw event (60-10).

In the 300-meter dash, Whitesboro’s Xavier Pawlowski won in 35.67 seconds. New Hartford’s Joshua Knapp took first in the pole vault (13-6).

Vernon Verona Sherrill’s Dylan Bachman, Nathan Geroux, Ammon Novoa and George Hicks were victorious in the Division II race at 8:25.98.

South Jefferson’s Macon Kingsley tossed to a win in the shot put (56-3.5).

Girls

Nottingham’s Delilah Pandori-Howell won the 3,000-meter run in 10:02.94. Libiya Dawson took home a victory in the long jump (18-9).

The Bulldogs’ Division I 4×200-meter relay of Raynea Amezado, Dawson, TyLynn Morales and Coriyah Williams reached first place in 1:44.67.

Marcellus’ 4×200-meter relay of Avery Shute, Harmony Frost, Dorothy McMahon and Madison Foy won the Division II race in 1:48.36.

Baldwinsville’s Kamryn Barton reached the top of the podium in the 1,000 meters (2:57.04). In the Division I 4×800-meter relay, the Bees’ Barton, Yolanda Wei, Madelyn Donhauser and Emmy Buchanan won in 9:33.76.

C-NS’s Aaliyah McDonald was victorious in the 55-meter hurdles (8.16 seconds). Anna Eells won the high jump (5-4) and the triple jump (38-2).

In the Division I 4×400-meter relay, the Northstars’ Sophia Graham, Evelyn Maglente, Gianna Melfi and Goddess Muhammad won in 4:09.96.

Solvay’s Jernessa Donaldson was victorious in the shot put (37-3.75). Rome Free Academy’s Keyonna Mitchell won the weight throw (50-11).

The Division II 4×400-meter relay race saw Cazenovia’s Anna Reksc, Alyssa Wardell, Nora Berg and Satriah Sikochi win with a compiled time of 4:09.13.

The Lakers’ Division II 4×800-meter relay of Maura Phillips, Maeve McGreevy, Abbie Comeau and Lily Kogut were victorious in 9:48.85.

Oswego’s Sophia Otokiti took home a win in the 55-meter dash (7.17 seconds). Central Square’s Aubrey Greene reached high for a victory in the pole vault (10-6).

South Jefferson’s Lillian Cota raced to first place in the 600 meters (1:35.66) and the 300 meters (41.71 seconds). Ellie Roberts grabbed a win in the 1,500-meter run (4:41.39).
