Residents of a massive NYCHA complex in the Bronx have been dealing with no heat and water on Wednesday.
According to NYCHA’s website, unplanned heat and water outages have been reported across the entire Castle Hill Houses complex.
The complex is made up of more than 2,000 apartments.
Residents who spoke with Eyewitness News Wednesday night, said they have had no water at all since early Wednesday morning, and then received notices that there had been a water main break.
“The water went off first, then they put out the notice saying there was no water,” one resident said. “And if there is a water main break, how long is going to take to get fixed?”
Another resident told Eyewitness News his heat and water have returned.
Eyewitness News reached to NYCHA for comment, but have not heard back.
