NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Your commute to work may be star-studded this month.
For Valentine’s Day, Harlem-native Teyana Taylor is speaking directly to New Yorkers with a message blasted across New York City’s subways.
“Hey New York, it’s your girl Teyana Taylor,” she says in the message. “Whether you’re riding with someone you love, or just loving the ride, the subway’s here for you. Enjoy the ride, happy Valentine’s Day.”
Celebrities who call New York City home have taken over the subway system from time to time, including Cardi B.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, the MTA is also recreating the No. 7 train as the “love train” and adorning the Nos. 1, 2, 3 lines with red hearts.
