Justin Baldoni is back in court.
The actor arrived at New York City’s U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Thursday with his wife, Emily Baldoni, one day after his “unsuccessful” court-ordered settlement conference with Blake Lively.
The “Gossip Girl” alum, notably, was not present at the courthouse like the day before.

As for Justin, the 42-year-old was all smiles walking in while sporting a gray coat paired with a brown shirt.
The “Jane the Virgin” alum is in court regarding his case against former publicist Stephanie Jones, whom he countersued in March 2025 after she sued him the previous December.
Emily, 41, grinned at her husband’s side, bundled up in a brown coat and scarf ahead of the session.

The couple put on a similarly united front on Wednesday, walking into the courthouse hand-in-hand — and exiting the same way.
At the time, he and Lively happened to be awkwardly coordinating in olive green and pale pink ensembles.
The settlement discussion was the “It Ends With Us” co-stars final chance to avoid going to trial over Lively’s sexual harassment allegations, which Justin has denied.

The contentious legal battle is expected to come to a head on May 18, 2026.
Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, told Deadline that “there’s always a chance” a settlement will be reached in the meantime.
However, the attorney clarified he didn’t “know that [they] will” resume settlement talks.
Lively sued Justin in January 2025 for $161 million in damages after filing a complaint against him the previous month.

Although the former “Man Enough” podcast countersued for $400 million later that same month, that lawsuit has since been tossed.
As for Justin’s legal battle with Stephanie Jones, she accused him, his film studio and his crisis PR team of an alleged breach of contract in December 2024.
Justin, in response, sued the Jonesworks PR boss for breach of contract and breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.
