Final N.Y.C. Mayoral Debate Gets HeatedZohran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa traded personal attacks in the final debate before New York City’s mayoral election on Nov. 4.

“We heard from Donald Trump’s puppet himself, Andrew Cuomo.” “Not everything is a TikTok video.” “Zohran, stop dealing with fantasy and start dealing with reality.” “What is your opinion, Zohran?” “Yes or no?” “Come on.” “Yes or no?” “What is your opinion, yes or no?” “Try the truth.” “You have never had a job. You’ve never accomplished anything. There’s no reason to believe you have any merit or qualification for 8.5 million lives.” “You will hear from Andrew Cuomo about his experience, as if the issue is that we don’t know about it. The issue is that we have all experienced your experience.” “We need 7,000 police officers. We are badly understaffed. We need to get police officers in the subways, actually patrolling the moving cars where people are most threatened and most frightened.” “I’ve had a lot of dealings with President Trump, and there’s only one way to deal with him. He puts his finger in your chest, and you have to put your finger right back in his chest.” “The feds should not have stepped into this situation. There is not communication between the local authorities and the feds. This is a matter that should have been left up to the N.Y.P.D.” “Commissioner Tisch took on a broken status quo, started to deliver accountability, rooting out corruption and reducing crime across the five boroughs.”
