QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 15-year-old was slashed at a subway station in Queens on Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. at the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue station.
The victim was on the southbound 7 platform when a group of individuals approached him, police say. The individuals allegedly demanded the victim’s property before a fight broke out.
During the altercation, one of the individuals took out a knife and slashed the victim in the hand, police say. The group then fled the station.
EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.
