There’s a new leader at the helm of the Partnership for New York City after Kathy Wylde’s retirement last month, after she spent more than two decades advocating for the city’s business leaders.
The influential partnership represents more than 300 companies in the city, including some of the largest firms like Google and JPMorgan Chase.
Steven Fulop has taken over the partnership at a critical time for New York and its business community.
He’ll be tasked with helping Mayor Zohran Mamdani navigate his complicated relationship with business leaders and more.
But Fulop brings his own experience to the table. He is the former three-term mayor of Jersey City.
Fulop joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to talk about his new role as president and CEO of the partnership.
