Remedy Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for CONTROL Resonant, featuring the first PS5 Pro gameplay footage set in the West Incusion Zone in Manhattan.
This zone features expansive zones featuring side activities, hidden encounters, and various discoveries. Dylan’s abilities let him navigate spaces that defy the laws of physics within areas known as Gravity Anomalies, where gravity and orientation shift.
CONTROL Resonant will focus on Dylan Faden, who, after years of confinement by the Federal Bureau of Control, is deployed. Dylan uses his powers to face paranormal dangers in Manhattan, which the Hiss’s corrupting influence has overtaken, the invasive Mold, and other dangers.
Set after the events of the original Control, Dylan wants to learn about his past and find his sister Jesse Faden, the current Director of the Bureau.
Players will face constantly shifting enemies by manipulating the environment, wielding elemental skills, and the melee weapon known as the Aberrant, which can transform seamlessly between forms such as a heavy hammer or dual blades. In addition to exploring a distorted Manhattan, there will be metaphysical spaces that represent Dylan’s fractured psyche.
CONTROL Resonant will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2026.
