QUEENS, NY. (PIX11) — A subway rider was whacked across the face with a milk crate in a Queens train station last month, police said Friday.
The 27-year-old man was attacked from behind while walking in the passageway of the Queens Plaza subway station at around 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 28, according to the NYPD.
The straphanger was hit in the face with a milk crate and suffered a cut on the eye, police said. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled and was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket, black shirt, black sweatpants, and brown shoes, police said.

There have been no arrests.
