A 26-year-old man died early Friday after he was shot in the chest while sitting in a car on a Bronx street, police said.
The victim was sitting in a vehicle on Thwaites Place and Barker Ave. in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx at 12:20 a.m. when he was shot, cops said.
EMS rushed him to Jacobi Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately disclosed.
No arrests have been made.
Cops were scouring the area looking for surveillance video that could help them learn what led up to the shooting.
