STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island’s Community Boards will hold public meetings next week regarding approvals of liquor licenses, as well as an update on traffic impacts from the upcoming TD Five Boro Bike Tour in May.

Community Board 1

Community Board 1 will hold three committee meetings next week.

The New Brighton/St. George/Tompkinsville committee will hold a virtual meeting on Zoom on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. It will be led by committee chair Claudette Duff. The meeting will discuss a new liquor license for 13 Torress Inc., located at 10-12 St. Paul’s Avenue. Devon DeLucia will also provide a 2026 TD Five Boro Bike Tour traffic update.

The Mariner’s Harbor/Port Richmond/Elm Park/Arlington area committee will hold a virtual meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m., led by chairs Selina Grey and Dora Berksteiner. The committee will discuss a liquor license change of operation at Taqueria Roqueta dba La Fortuna Mexican Restaurant, located at 2047 Richmond Terrace.

The Stapleton/Clifton/Concord/Park Hills area committee will also hold a virtual and in-person meeting at the Stapleton Library on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The library is located at 132 Canal St. There are no agenda announcements for this meeting.

Community Board 2 will hold a full board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. This full board meeting will be conducted in person at The Hilton Garden Inn Fountain Room, located at 1100 South Ave., in Livingston.

The Law, Legislative Review, Ethics committee chair Tom Backis will discuss an amendment to the administrative rules of procedure. The Traffic, Transportation, Public Service committee chair Joe Torres will discuss a request for Department of Transportation Traffic Engineering Study regarding access to the College of Staten Island at Victory Boulevard and Canterbury Avenue, in Willowbrook.
