
Woman pushed on train tracks, another punched in NYC subway: NYPD
SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Two women are recovering at the hospital after one was pushed onto train tracks and another was punched in the face in a Brooklyn subway station, according to police.
The women were at the 53rd Street subway station in Sunset Park when a 51-year-old was shoved off the platform and a 43-year-old was punched around 8:44 a.m., authorities say.
Both women are expected to survive and a person of interest has been taken into custody, officials report. No formal arrests have been made as the incident remains under investigation.
