Care home residents were treated to a touch of royal glamour during a themed photoshoot.

The Kings and Queens event took place at RMBI Care Co. Home Cadogan Court in Exeter, where residents, families, and staff enjoyed an afternoon of dressing up, posing for portraits, and sharing laughter.

The photoshoot was led by staff member and professional photographer Hannah Bromell as part of her ongoing creative programme.

Clare Walker, home manager at Cadogan Court, said: “Events like this are about celebrating our residents and creating joyful moments.

“Seeing everyone dressed up and smiling was wonderful.

“It strengthened our already-present sense of community.

“We love finding new ways to spark creativity and bring families together.”

The home was transformed into a regal, fairy-tale setting for the day, and even Humphrey, an eight-month-old Golden Retriever owned by activities coordinator Corinne, joined in the fun.

The event aimed to boost confidence, encourage social interaction, and create lasting memories for residents and their loved ones.

Photographs from the day were shared with families and posted to the home’s social media channels, where they received warm reactions from the community.
