The New York Comedy Film Festival kicks off Sunday in the Flatiron District, celebrating all things comedy with a week-long lineup of feature films, documentaries, TV pilots, short films and live performances.

The festival runs Feb. 15–22 and highlights works from comedians, filmmakers and fans alike.

Among the screenings is the film “Magic Hour.”

Star Miriam Shor, director Jacqueline Christy and Steve Eliau, co-founder of the festival, joined “Mornings On 1” to talk about the event and what audiences can expect from this year’s lineup.
