NEW YORK (AP) — Families will have a chance to experience the bright lights of Broadway together next month as Kids’ Night on Broadway returns to New York City on Feb. 24.

The annual initiative, presented by The Broadway League, invites children and teens 18 and younger to attend participating Broadway shows at no cost when accompanied by a full-paying adult.

The program aims to introduce young audiences to live theater and cultivate the next generation of theatergoers.

Participating productions include Disney’s Aladdin, All Out: Comedy About Ambition, & Juliet, Buena Vista Social Club, Chicago, The Great Gatsby, Hamilton, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Disney’s The Lion King.

Also participating are Maybe Happy Ending, MJ The Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Operation Mincemeat, The Outsiders, SIX: The Musical, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), and Wicked.

Launched in 1996 by The Broadway League in partnership with Theatre Development Fund, Kids’ Night on Broadway has expanded beyond New York, reaching touring productions across the country as part of the League’s ongoing audience development efforts.

Under the offer, tickets must be purchased in pairs — one adult ticket and one for a child 18 or younger — with each ticket printed at half price to reflect the complimentary youth admission.

Organizers advise families to confirm that the Kids’ Night discount is applied before completing their purchase. Not all seats are eligible for the promotion, and tickets bought at full price cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Tickets may be purchased during the designated on-sale period through links provided on participating shows’ official pages, by phone or in person at individual box offices.

For questions regarding existing orders or issues during the purchase process, patrons should use the customer service contact information listed on each show’s webpage.
