After High-Profile Attacks, Judge Orders 2 Upper West Side Pit Bulls Into City Custody: Report

A civil court judge has ruled that two pit bull mixes who attacked multiple dogs on the Upper West Side are dangerous and must be surrendered to city custody, according to a report from the West Side Rag.

Judge Phaedra Perry-Bond ordered owner Joseph Columbus to turn over his dogs, Rambo and Zooey, to Animal Care and Control within three days or risk police seizure.

Man Knifed In Manhattan Subway Station, Police Say

A 28-year-old man was slashed inside an East Harlem subway station Wednesday night, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the perpetrator was arguing with the victim at 11:20 p.m. on the stairs of the 125th Street station at Lexington Avenue when he pulled out a knife and slashed the victim across lower left side of his jaw.
