STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The GRACE Foundation’s “Nightmare on Seaview” makes its haunted return to Staten Island Oct. 17–18, promising bigger scares, louder screams, and spooky fun — all in support of the foundation’s mission to enhance the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

“We’re so proud to bring back ‘Nightmare on Seaview’ for a second year — and this time, it’s bigger, better, and scarier than ever,” said Cathy Del Priore, executive director of The GRACE Foundation of New York. “What makes it truly special is that everyone can be part of the fun.”

The GRACE Foundation has provided programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families for more than 25 years. Its initiatives, including community-based activities, day programs, and respite services are designed to promote independence, inclusion, and personal growth. Events like “Nightmare on Seaview” help fund these vital programs and ensure that they can continue to offer opportunities for individuals to thrive in their daily lives.

The two-day event will be held at 460 Brielle Avenue in Seaview. Evening activities run Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight. Earlier on Saturday, the event will offer a sensory-friendly Halloween experience from noon to 4 p.m., tailored for guests with sensory sensitivities.

Nighttime events on Friday and Saturday promise a fright-filled experience for attendees of all ages, with spooky activities, such as a haunted walk through house; axe throwing; carnival games, like ring toss on monster fingers and hit the clown; live music; vendors; Halloween giveaway prizes; and GRACE on wheels food truck offering delicious fall treats.

Earlier on Saturday, the event shifts to a sensory-friendly experience that focuses on fun. It will offer an inclusive environment with a “no-scare” haunted house, decorated trunks, carnival games, vendors, and food truck favorites — all without scare actors or sudden effects.

Tickets for the evening events are $30 per person, and tickets for the Saturday early sensory-friendly “Not So Scary Haunted House” are $20 per person. All proceeds support the GRACE Foundation’s programs for individuals with autism and their families. Tickets can be purchased online at https://graceofny.org/grace-events/.
