THE BRONX, NY (PIX11) — The New York Police Department is asking the public to help identify a person who allegedly stole the victim’s purse as she was unloading her shopping cart on Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Feb. 3, at around 10:45 a.m. in front of 445 Gerard Avenue, police said.
The purse contained two cellphones, a wallet containing credit cards, cash, and other items with a value of $3,450, according to officials.

No one was hurt in the incident, police said.
