FLUSHING & OCEAN SIDE, N.Y. – Stony Brook women’s tennis had itself a successful day of matches on Wednesday, sweeping its doubleheader against Queens College and Adelphi.
The Seawolves opened the day with a hard-fought victory against the Knights in Flushing, defeating them by a highly contested 4-3 scoreline.
Stony Brook secured the doubles point over Queens thanks to wins by the pairings of Elena Lobo-Corral / Kristi Boro, Mia Palladino / Sanjana Devineni, and Mila Charles / Laura Ozola.
In singles play, the Seawolves secured their win over Queens with singles victories from Lobo-Corral, Devineni, and Ozola.

In match two of the day in Oceanside, Stony Brook once again secured the doubles point, as clutch 7-5 wins from Palladino/Ozola and Devineni/Maria Perez proved to be the difference.
Stony Brook added three more singles wins to claim a 4-1 victory over Adelphi, with Lobo-Corral, Devineni, and Ozola securing the Seawolf singles victories.
