North Adams man found safe after 6 months missing in NYC

Cyris Sumner, missing from North Adams, has been found safe in New York City.

NORTH ADAMS, N.Y. (WNYT)- A man from North Adams who had been missing for six months has been found safe.

Cyris Sumner, 24, had not been heard from since late July. He was found safe on Feb. 6 in New York City.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that this information comes from two of Sumner’s cousins who led the search on social media.

North Adams police confirmed that Sumner has been removed from their missing person database.
