Pedro Pascal and Rafael Olarra spent Valentine’s weekend strolling New York City, going to the movies, and grabbing some grub.
According to TMZ, which was first to share paparazzi photos of the Last of Us actor and the Faena Hotels creative director, the two were spotted walking around NYC’s Lower East Side before they “got cozy” in a movie theater to watch Wuthering Heights, Emerald Fennell’s glossy Gothic rendition of Emily Brontë’s 10th-century novel, starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie. Just Jared snapped the pair signing autographs and taking pics with fans the following evening.
Olarra, 42, an openly gay man, was born in Argentina and studied at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, per Queerty. He was last linked to actor/singer Luke Evans (Nine Perfect Strangers). The two went Instagram official in February 2020, per People, then announced their breakup in 2021 after a year together, per Out magazine.
Pascal, 50, maintains a more private personal life, keeping his sexuality and romance endeavors under wraps. Per Queerty, the Chilean-born actor is a staunch LGBTQ+ ally. Earlier this month, Pascal was onstage with Carol G, Cardi B, and Jessica Alba, jamming to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
So, the question on everyone’s lips: Are the two dating? Neither Pascal nor Olarra has confirmed or denied anything, allowing the rumor mill to mill. What is confirmed, however, is that two very handsome, very well-dressed men went sightseeing in the Big Apple, enjoyed an apropos holiday movie — at the theater (props for that!) — and drew a lot of attention while doing it.
