NEW YORK (PIX11) — This weekend may bring another round of snow to the region, as a coastal storm is expected to hit parts of New York and New Jersey on Sunday.
In preparation for snow accumulations, the New York Department of Sanitation is hiring last-minute shovelers.
To register to become an emergency snow shoveler, visit any DSNY garage on Saturday between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. with your ID and two small photos.
Pay starts at $19.14 an hour.
You do not need an appointment to show up.
To register, you must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
