Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott had some choice words for Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen on ESPN’s Get Up.
Given Queen’s $17,193,334 cap hit, Scott think it’s a no-brainer that the Steelers should part ways. Queen hasn’t necessarily lived up to his massive contract.
“Patrick Queen, you can get outta that contract finally this year,” Scott said. “I think he was … he didn’t play very well at all.”
Scott and Queen have a history with each other.
In November of 2024, Scott put Queen on notice, stating that Queen was in for a rude awakening against the Ravens.
“Even though we hate the Steelers, we respect them, and we’ll never admit that out loud,” Scott said Friday on ESPN’s Get Up. “But every once in a while, you get a Judas. And the Judas is Patrick Queen. He went over to the dark side. He’s going to learn. He’s gonna mess around and find out.”
Queen caught wind of Scott’s remarks and clapped back following the Steelers’ 18-16 win over Baltimore on Sunday.
“@BartScott57 talk that talk now boy I BEEN THAT! Yo stats took you 12 years I’m in year 5 and right there,” Queen wrote on X.

Queen inked a three-year, $41 million deal with the Steelers back in March, and was quick to tab himself as the villain in the Steelers-Ravens rivalry.
Scott isn’t the only one that thinks the Steelers should move on from Queen, however. Former Steelers James Harrison and Joe Haden also think Queen’s time in the Steel City should be over.
“Patrick Queen’s gotta go,” Haden said on the Deebo & Joe podcast. “Love him to death, but that’s a lot of money there and we can use that to get another asset at maybe the linebacker position.
Harrison replied, “With Queen, I’m with you,” Harrison said. “I think he done even took Steelers out of his bio. I think you can see the writing on the wall. They may have had a conversation already.”
