NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Snow is already falling in New York and New Jersey as the region hunkers down for a major storm.

The region is under a blizzard warning Sunday into Monday afternoon. Conditions will be extreme, with low visibility, possible power outages and difficult travel, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow will be the worst between Sunday evening and Monday morning. Here’s how much to expect in parts of the tri-state area.

White Plains: 18.4 inches

West Millford: 23.3 inches

Atlantic City: 18-24 inches
