A Bronx pair is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming a top-prize $1,000,000 New York Lottery’s New York Millionaire scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.
Shiao Tan and Manesan In of the Bronx opted to split the prize evenly with each receiving a one-time lump sum payment totaling $205,101, after required withholdings, according to officials.
The winning ticket was purchased at La Tiedita Dona Fide 2 located at 2589 Saint Raymonds Ave. in the Bronx.
As of this writing, there was one top prize remaining on the New York Millionaire ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
New York’s Scratch-off games generated $4,339,794,048 in total sales during fiscal year 2024-2025. School districts in across the five boroughs received $1,427,185,199 in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
